The Hugo Spritz is a delightful, bubbly cocktail with chilled prosecco and St Germain, but we've come up with a slightly boozier rendition that is wonderful during the summer months.
Here's what you'll need:
- 4oz chilled prosecco
- 1oz gin
- 1oz soda water
- 1/2oz Wild Foraged Elderflower Syrup
- mint leaves
- lime wedge
- optional: cucumber slice
The key to making this drink is pouring the ingredients in the right order so it mixes properly and leaves the bubbles in tact.
Give the mint leaves a good slap and put them to the bottom of a large wine glass, along with a slice of cucumber.
Add ice, then prosecco, gin, and Wild Foraged Elderflower Syrup. Top with soda water and garnish with lime wedge.
