Big Head Todd and the Monsters is a soulful, bluesy band that brings back so many beautiful memories for me — I used to love (and still love) their 1993 album Sister Sweetly, and am now excited to listen to their newest album, Her Way Out, kindly provided by @victrolaplayers along with a cool portable record player.
Mom loved all things coffee, so this one is for her — an espresso martini variation perfect for evenings on the porch. Inspired by the song “Bittersweet,” the combination of flavors is just that and more. Thank you to @drinkcathead for the incredible spirits, and to @farmersjamatl for the delicious syrup.
Flavor-wise, bitter chicory pairs seamlessly with coffee, and the subtle notes of peach and basil in combination with this single-barrel cask strength bourbon is heaven in a glass. Never paired basil and coffee? I beg you to give it a try. 🌿 ☕️

On August 12, 2024, Farmers Jam partnered with Adam aka @soundtrackmydrink as well as Victrola Record Players and Cathead Distillery for National Vinyl Record Day. Creators from across the country made a signature cocktail as a pairing to their favorite song from a jam band. Entertaining and delicious. Cheers!
