We've officially wrapped up the testing phase of our Farmers Jam Cocktail Syrup. Last week, we popped up at Virginia Highland Farmers Market and once again met some great people.
Every time we've sampled our syrup, we get more and more insight to our product, our label and our pricing strategy. It's been extremely helpful and we feel confident heading into our official launch on September 15.
Of course, there's always more to learn and we'll keep refining and tweaking our process throughout the year. We appreciate all your feedback and support over the last few years. It's because of you that we're able to take this next step and grow as a business. Special shout out to my parents, who have been our biggest supporters since we began.
We've been talking A LOT about product lately, but wanted to bring up why we do this work: to plant more fruit trees on more farms. We had a great conversation earlier this week about a fruit tree planting I'm really excited about. Nothing's set yet, but I'll be very happy if we can pull this off.
At the end of the day, we believe in local, organic farmers. They're why we got into this business, and they're who we want to support. I truly believe this cocktail syrup will not only become the foundation of Farmers Jam, but also enable us to buy more fruit and plant more trees. That's why we do what we do.
- We'll be a featured cocktail at AgLanta Eats on Monday, August 29. They'll be serving our "Tastes Like Summer G&T" which will be available throughout the festival.
- We're throwing a launch party on Thursday, September 15th at A Sip of Paradise Gardens! Drinks will be flowing thanks to our friends at Cathead Distillery at Georgia Routes. The launch party will be the first opportunity to take home a bottle of cocktail syrup. Be sure to save the date -- we'd love to see you there.
- We'll also have an exclusive Labor Day Pre Order Sale just for our email subscribers. Be on the lookout for emails towards the end of the month so you can be the first to order our brand new Cocktail Syrup.
